Securing sustainable funding is a constant challenge. Nonprofits and businesses for good need to articulate their value proposition and demonstrate results to potential funders. This workshop focuses on demonstrating your need and impact with more data on grant applications. We will be focusing on:

Identifying relevant data sources to demonstrate community need (e.g., ONS data, local authority statistics).
Crafting compelling "problem statements" backed by evidence.
Quantifying anticipated outcomes and outputs for grant proposals.
Using data to tailor applications to specific funder priorities.

How should I prepare for the workshop?

If you already have a grant application you've already completed, keep it handy with you and you'll be able to use that or refine it as you wish during the exercise. While this workshop applies everywhere, we will focus on UK sources of information and resources. If you are located elsewhere, please let us know and we can include relevant resources for your location and industry as we have experience abroad (Canada and Pakistan) as well.
