Data Protection Essentials and Annual Meeting CIPD Chester Group
With increasing requirements to ensure compliance with Data Protection Regulations, this event presents the opportunity for HR professionals and anyone working in risk management to learn about the latest legislation and to hear the practical view point of an expert Employment Lawyer based on many years practice in this complex and often challenging area.
The evening will commence with a brief Annual Meeting providing a recap on the year’s events and election of the committee for the CIPD Chester Group for the coming year.
Speakers: David Whincup
David Whincup has been Head of Employment Practice, Squires PB London, since 1994. His expertise gained from twenty-five years as a specialist Employment Law practitioner covers a wide variety of employment-related issues, including in particular individual and team recruitment issues, policy and contract drafting, disciplinary and grievance procedures, individual and collective redundancies, the defence of employee discrimination and dismissal claims and other litigation, whistleblowing, employee health, data protection and matters surrounding confidentiality and intellectual property in the workplace.
