Trying to get an understanding of your responsibilities as a business owner or key person within a larger organisation, with regard to data privacy and UK GDPR can be seen as complex, confusing, mystifying, and quite frankly terrifying.
Did you know that all organisations have legal and moral responsibilities in relation to the safeguarding of various types of personal data?
What will I learn?
During this session you will learn why protecting your personal data matters, and how adopting a ‘privacy by design’ framework can be commercially beneficial to your business in many ways.
We will also deconstruct five common UK GDPR myths and look at the key UK GDPR requirements for data controllers, and how you can easily meet these requirements, through the implementation of effective data protection policies, practices, processes, and training.
Who should attend?
- Business owners, directors, start-up businesses and charitable/voluntary organisations that collect personal data.
