A Postgrad Workshop hosted by the Digital Transformations Research group, MMU

Want to meet digital sociologists? Come and enjoy two days of roundtables, masterclasses, a research workshop and a keynote, with experts from MMU and further afield.
Day 1, 11am-6pm: What is digital sociology?
An opportunity to discuss and explore different perspectives on digital sociology with experts from MMU and further afield. The day will open with keynote presentations by Professor Patricia Clough (CUNY), followed by a panel discussion and an interactive poster session and networking with digital researchers across MMU.
Day 2, 10am-4pm: Becoming a digital sociologist
An opportunity to learn and practice the craft of digital sociology through a series of expert 'masterclasses' with digital researchers currently in the field. The day will open with a series of short presentations from contributors before inviting participants to consider their own areas of interest and providing them with the support to create their own research proposals.
Lunch and refreshment provided throughout. Light snacks and evening refreshments available on day 1.
