He co-founded BiG to indulge his fanatical data science obsession, BiG is now churning out useful algorithms for military and tech-magnates alike.

Gerry will talk about how Big Data is being used in industry and routes to data-maturity within your organisation. Focussing on data-driven tools and solutions for the marketing sector such as rich customer segmentation, real-time personalisation and predictive analytics.

Chris Shadrick

Chris leads on Digital Strategy for creative agency, AB and partners with clients to look for new ways to strengthen and build relationships with consumers. This involves integrating creative and technological solutions that inform business decisions and marketing outputs. Chris and his team go beyond the agency norms of relying on standard demographic targeting, but work directly with clients to look for patterns in their data that trigger engagement during optimum times and personalise communications.

Chris will run an interactive session, taking you through his top five tools that allow brands to have more control over their Digital Customer Experience by analysing customer data and digital interactions. Including a demo of one of the world’s most innovative big data customer experience solutions that replays user interactions.

Jonny Day

Head of Digital Marketing, Crowdcube

Jonny is an accomplished digital marketing specialist with a comprehensive knowledge of the UK online marketing environment.

He's deeply passionate about delivering outstanding user experiences and is eagerly looking forward to the further developments in mobile marketing, internationalisation and the merging of online and offline. He has a keen interest in analytics, optimisation and A/B testing alongside, developments in social, content and platform development. He loves working in the digital marketing sector due to its exciting, dynamic and always changing nature.

Jonny will be sharing Crowdcube’s use of data to understand their business goals, key metrics not vanity metrics and using data to drive change and product improvement. Including how and where to focus time and resource.
