What we will cover

Modern application development dramatically raises the bar for developers. The old times of monoliths and tightly-coupled code are gone and now the race is on: faster applications, scalable deployments, microservices. As the paradigm changes and the infrastructure grows bigger and bigger, requiring best level of performance and disaster-tolerance, we are moving to clouds, using all possible benefits of virtualisation and containerisation.

However, it’s a two-way relationship: not only do modern applications define infrastructure requirements, but modern infrastructure also defines requirements to the applications.

There are some new questions to answer: How do we write efficient cloud-native applications? What it takes to design a system to run successfully in Kubernetes? Are there any key principles to discover?
