There's a single Vice Presidential debate this time. Pitting Vice President Joe Biden against Congressman Paul Ryan it promises to be a scrappy fight over the critical issues. Don't miss the only chance to see these two policy wonks go head to head.
As the 2008 Debate screenings demonstrated, watching the debates in the company of your fellow Democrats is an unmissable experience. We'll cheer on Biden, boo Ryan, and make up our own minds about how it went. A moderated discussion will follow the debate screening.
The moderator will be Martha Raddatz (ABC News Chief Foreign Correspondent). The debate, originally broadcast in the US on October 11, will cover both foreign and domestic topics and be divided into nine time segments of approximately 10 minutes each. The moderator will ask an opening question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the question.
Book early, as we expect this event to sell out fast!
The RADA Bar will be open from 1PM to 6PM, so come early for a drink or stay afterwards for more discussion.
