Tintern talks are back, this time with award-winning Magnum photographer David Hurn in conversation with writer Mark McCrum.

David Hurn is one of the world’s most influential photographers. He covered the Hungarian Revolution in 1956, was at Aberfan in 1966, and has shot iconic portraits of Sean Connery, Jane Fonda and The Beatles among other celebrated actors, musicians and artists.

Since moving to Tintern in the 70s, Hurn has concentrated on documenting local life and landscape. His latest book is Wales, As It Is, is a collaboration with cultural historian Richard King.

Join us at this in-person event at Tintern Village Hall as Hurn shares insights into his photographic practice and fascinating stories from his remarkable career.

Doors open at 7pm with a cash bar. Approximately one hour including questions.
