A night to celebrate the life of David Saylor.
American-born, Birmingham-based Singer, Musician & Record Producer, David Antonio Saylor, died suddenly on New Years Day this year at the age of just 53.
David was most widely known for both his solo album releases & as a key player in bands such as Push (UK) and Wild Rose. His biggest success was the 1994 album 'Padre Nuestro’ recorded together with Spanish singer, Myriam Fultz. The album went on to achieve platinum record sales across South & North America, Mexico and Spain, selling in excess of 1 million copies & producing two top 40 singles in the USA billboard charts. His last solo album 'Ship to Nowhere’ was released in 2016 and more albums were to follow.
A highly respected vocalist, over the years David worked with the likes Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Marta Sanchez, Albert Hammond, Jon Secada & Edwin Starr.
His music lives on & tonight will see some of the country’s finest musicians & vocalists coming together to perform a powerful tribute to his life & music.
All proceeds from the night go directly to David's family.
