About this event

Join the Biodiversity Team for a guided walk around Queen Mary's Woodland, making our way to the cafe at Oaks Park , to enjoy the dawn chorus on International Dawn Chorus Day!

Bring your binoculars and cameras.

Stout footwear is recommended as the terrain may be uneven and muddy. Dress for the weather, it may be cool at 6am!

Walking is generally easy but there may be stiles to negotiate. Please let us know if you have any concerns over mobility / walking.

The Biodiversity Team works for the London Borough of Sutton to manage and enhance nature reserves and green spaces for nature and people.

We run a wide array of education events, walks and talks to inform, educate and enthuse people about the wildlife under their nose, on nature reserves and in parks and other green spaces.

We mange Sutton Ecology Centre in Carshalton, where we run school education sessions and family events, along with 20+ nature reserves, covering rare chalk downland, flower-rich meadows, woodlands and wetlands.
