Event description

Description

Film sound: from location to post. What do you need to capture great sound on location? And what do you do with that sound in post production? We look at what is needed to make your film sound great, from location recording, dialogue editing, sound design and Foley, through to mixing and delivery.

The session is led by: Susan Pennington

Susan started her career as a sound recordist and sound editor/ sound designer, before specialising in audio post. She has worked as a dialogue editor, sound designer and dubbing mixer on a range of British Feature Films and TV drama, including This is England (feature film and ’86/ ’88 TV series), Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger!, Nativity 3: Dude Where’s My Donkey?!, Norfolk, I Believe in Miracles and Don’t Take Me Home. Susan currently leads the audio post team at Spool, a post production facility in Nottingham, home to the only Dolby approved 5.1 studio in the East Midlands.

Tickets are strictly limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis: please book for your chosen session below.
