Day 3: Pastel and Paint

Join us for Day 3 of our Summer workshop programme at 19a in which we will explore paint and pastels! All materials will be supplied.

Techniques:

• Methods for working in soft pastel that keep the colours clean and vibrant
• Working with pastel on coloured paper
• Working over a painted base layer

Materials:

Soft pastels, pastel and watercolour papers, acrylic paints, brushes, and photos of animals or art postcard references.

This is an entry level workshop, you do not need to have any prior experience as we will guide you through each technique - Everyone is welcome!
