Day of Mindfulness
Overview
The Day of Mindfulness is an integral part of the 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program and is usually only offered to current and past participants of the MBSR to support them to refresh and strengthen their mindfulness knowledge, experience and ongoing practice at home.
I have decided to open the invitation to anyone who is inspired to take a deep dive into a thoughtfully curated schedule designed to lead you through an extensive range of mindfulness practices. I am doing this because I have recently attended an extraordinary mindfulness teacher training at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, hosted by Oxford University in the UK. This was deeply inspiring and has motivated me to incorporate some of my key learnings into the schedule of this upcoming Day of Mindfulness. I hope you can join me in sharing in and receiving this offering.
This single day mindfulness retreat will be offered in a beautifully conducive space. This is a rare and powerful opportunity to reflect and settle into stillness and attune deeply with yourself- body, heart and mind.
There will be limited places available for people to register their attendance. Please bring your lunch and any snacks. Kitchen facilities will be available, such as a fridge, stove, oven and microwave, for your food preparation. Coffee and a range of teas will be provided.
