Event description
Only prayer – Spirit-filled, believing, targeted prayer – can deal with the situation facing Britain today.

About this Event

Britain is a nation in trouble: we can all see this every time we switch on the TV news or pick up a newspaper. Our politicians are in disarray. None of them appear to have a clear idea of how to solve the problems of agreeing a deal to leave the European Union.

The politicians and commentators concentrate upon economic issues of different deals, or leaving the EU with no deal. But they fail to consider the philosophical as well as the moral and spiritual reasons why many people voted to leave the EU. These reasons include regaining our sovereignty and control of our borders and the waters around Britain.

But there are also deeper reasons for wishing to be free from the strongly secular-humanist driving forces in Brussels, which are deliberately based upon a denial of the Judaeo-Christian beliefs and values that have formed the social foundations of the nations of Europe for the past 1,000 years. This anti-Judaeo-Christian bias is built into the EU and has become a spiritual force of darkness affecting all the nations of Europe, including Britain.

It can only be broken by Britain leaving the EU and regaining its independence. But even that will not automatically dispel the powers of darkness that are causing the turmoil in Westminster and the outpourings of anger on social media - anger that will spill out onto the streets of Britain if the secular humanists succeed in driving the nation to a second referendum.

Only prayer – Spirit-filled, believing, targeted prayer – can deal with the situation facing Britain today. This is why Issachar Ministries is calling a day of prayer on the 29 March 2019 – ‘Brexit day’ – the day Britain is due to leave the European Union.

But we do not want this to be an ‘Issachar Ministries’ event: we want it to be open to all Bible-believing Christians; so, we have invited a number of other ministries to share in the leadership. David Hathaway and Clifford Hill will be joined by other leaders for this important day of prayer in Westminster.

We don’t want to keep anyone from coming so we are making no charge for this event although we will be asking for a free-will offering to cover costs. Numbers will be limited so please book now to come and join other believers in calling upon the Lord for his help at this crucial time in our nation’s history.
