Day Of The Dead with Zigzag Scrapstore

Zigzag Scrapstore presents a joyful day of colourful crafts to celebrate the Day of the Dead at Intra Arts. Commemorate lost loved ones by decorating a sugar skull or lantern shrine jar in their honour to take home. Or print a tote bag with skull and flower designs, cut colourful papel picado hanging banners , decorate a skull mask, make some jewellery or choose from other crafts in this wonderful day of free creative activities inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead.

All materials will be sourced from Zigzag Scrapstore, located in the basement at Intra Arts, a treasure trove of donated materials for creative projects. There will be all the glittery things, beads, and colourful papers to play with. Find us on Rochester's Old High Street Intra, in the stretch just next to Chatham.

Booking

To spread attendance over the day, please choose ticket times. Those who book will have reserved places until 10 minutes after their start time. If we have space on the day, we'll be happy to welcome you to join in, but ticket holders will get in first, and enjoy a minumum of an hour of free activities.

All ages are welcome, but there will be some sharp tools around and materials that little ones should not put in their mouths etc. So young children will need constant supervision and help from an accompanying adult.
