🌼 Day of the Deadcoupage & Mexican Animalitos 🌼
at Brewery Market, Twickenham

Join us for an evening inspired by the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos — Mexico’s beautiful Day of the Dead celebration. Far from being sombre, this is a joyful time to remember loved ones, share stories, and celebrate life with colour, food, and creativity.

With our friend Meena Gupta from The Creation Station, you’ll explore the art that makes this festival so distinctive - please choose your add-on at check out:
💀 Decoupage a skull – echoing the bright calaveras (sugar skulls) placed on ofrendas to honour those who have passed.
🦊 Craft a Mexican animalito – playful folk-art creatures from Oaxaca, rooted in tales of dreams, spirits, and imagination.

🕰️ The crafting will take about an hour, giving you plenty of time to relax into it.
🎤 At 7.30pm we’ll pause for a short talk, sharing the folk history and stories that give meaning to these traditions — how families use art, food, and light to welcome spirits home, and how each symbol carries its own layer of respect.

Tickets £15 – include your choice of project, all art materials, and free Mexican nibbles to enjoy while you create.
✨ We’ll have a crisp Mexican craft lager on tap too.
✨ A mindful, creative evening — good for the soul, and a chance to try something different.

For grown-ups and big kids at heart (children welcome if accompanied). Come away with your own handmade keepsake, a taste of Mexico, and a deeper connection to this meaningful folk tradition.
