5:30pm – 6:30pm: Insight: An Evening with Steven Knight and Cillian Murphy from Peaky Blinders **SOLD OUT**

Screenwriter and director Steven Knight’s portfolio includes such heavyweight projects as Taboo and Eastern Promises, but with his Bafta award-winning crime series Peaky Blinders, he has not only created the most stylish British TV show for decades, but raised the bar for TV drama in the UK. Here Knight joins his lead star Cillian Murphy, to take you behind the scenes on how the show is made, as well as offering an exclusive glimpse at the much-anticipated fourth series. Followed by Q&A.

6:30pm -7:30pm: How To Pick Better Wine - A Bluffer's Guide

Always wanted to take charge of a restaurant wine list but never really known where to look? This fun but highly practical session with wine experts Honest Grapes will teach you how to navigate a restaurant's wine menu or wine shop’s shelf, alongside guided tastings to help your new-found wisdom sink in. With the charismatic and knowledgeable Tom Harrow as your host, this fail-safe guide is a must for anyone looking to graduate from novice to connoisseur.

6:30pm – 7:30pm: In Conversation with Bruce Parry

Explorer, author and documentary-maker Bruce Parry made his name living with indigenous populations in remote locations all over the world for his Bafta-winning BBC TV series Tribe and he’s revisiting one of them for his first feature-length film, Taiwai, which is released this Autumn. As one of our most authentic and thoughtful explorers with a fascination for what makes people tick. This promises to be an inspiring evening of anecdotes and observations. Followed by Q&A.

7:00pm – 8:00pm: Armando Iannucci: In His Own Words

Satirist, writer, television director, radio producer and the man behind such era-defining shows as The Day Today, I’m Alan Partridge, The Thick Of It and Veep, it’s no surprise that Ianucci is a frequently cited inspiration for a generation of comedy writers and performers and is now one of the most in-demand. With his latest feature film The Death Of Stalin released this October, don’t miss the chance to hear him speak with actor and director David Schneider on writing, comedy, Hollywood and the state of the nation in 2017. Followed by Q&A.

8:30pm - 10:00pm: Russell Norman's Venetian Supper Club

Join restaurateur, author and now Esquire’s food columnist, Russell Norman, at the dinner table for a unique evening of Venetian food and conversation. As the man behind the Polpo restaurant empire, and author of the book of the same name, Russell has long been passionate about the city of Venice and its food, and has spent the last 14 months living there to research its home-cooking traditions and culinary heritage. This carefully curated four-course menu will reflect some of his favourite dishes which you can enjoy alongside him whilst discussing Venice’s past, present and uncertain future.
