What does J'Ouvert actually mean?

J'Ouvert is the French Creole term meaning "dawn" or "daybreak", as this is the time at which the celebration is typically held

Is it a messy/dutty fete?

This is where the 'ART' comes in. All feters will get a selection of temporary tattoos and have access to some washable paint to put on yourself or a friend.

Is there parking? What about a taxi drop off?

There is parking on the side streets & the venue is on Old Kent Road which is a well lit area. Please do not park in any of the industrial complexes (you can park around them). A taxi drop-off point is located directly next to the venue so you can safely get to the venue

Is this a J'Ouvert, how is indoors?

Outside is too cold & wet so we fete'ing inside...
