About this event
Following the Daytimers' 24-hour livestream, where £12,000 was raised for Khalsa Aid International in support of the farmers' protests in India, the Daytimers team are proud to present a special all-day charity event and live stream from Colour Factory (London). We are hosting this event to raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts in India.
The event will have two sessions and will feature a line up of South Asian DJs & artists, with sets from the likes of Ahadadream, Anu, Manuka Honey, and many more to be announced.

Session 2: 4PM - 8PM

Proceeds from the tickets and bar will go towards the incredible Hemkunt Foundation and India’s Trans Queer Hijra Intersex community. Donations can also be made through our Just Giving page.
This event aims to increase awareness of the dire circumstances in India as a result of the second wave of COVID-19.
The funds raised will support the efforts of NGOs and citizen relief funds in supporting the population. At the time of writing, the total number of infections in India has passed 18 million, with New Delhi running out of space for cremations. The Hemkunt Foundation is raising money to purchase oxygen cylinders and concentrators, distributing these to COVID-19 patients for free. We’ll also be raising money for India’s trans community, and helping to provide food and sanitary preventative kits across six locations - supporting a community devastated by both COVID and the loss of their livelihoods. With the peak of the wave expected to be in the week of this event, we hope to raise as much money as possible to support these relief efforts.
The in-person event will start at 12pm and finish at 8pm on the 23rd of May 2021, with DJ sets seeing us through the day. All DJ sets will also be livestreamed on our Twitch TV channel so that anyone in the world can watch, take part, and donate.
On the 29th May, from 2-4pm BST / 6:30-8:30pm IST, we’ll be hosting a livestream (part of our monthly Sundown Session Series) and interviews on our Twitch with 2 India-based DJs, Aneesha Kotwani and Yung Raj, to further raise money for these COVID relief efforts.
Please note that due to COVID restrictions, you must buy a ticket for a whole table which will seat up to 6 people. You will be able to buy a table for both sessions at the time of purchase.
