Aimed at  Trustees with overall responsibility for governance, GDPR & safeguarding and anyone involved in the recruitment process,

The first in a series of regional online Safeguarding events co-ordinated by PAVS, Carol Eland , the Regional Outreach Adviser (Wales) from the Disclosure &amp; Barring Service will cover the following : •	Introduction to DBS•	Understand the benefits of DBS and you (organisation) working together•	Understand the different levels of DBS checks•	Understand when an employee is eligible for a check•	Understand what Regulated Activity is•	Understand the DBS Update Service•	Have an understanding of what safe recruitment practices can be in place that DBS checks can form a part of.•	Myth Busting Quiz Followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
