Kelly Matthews, DBS Regional Outreach Adviser for the South East will provide an overview of the role of the DBS, eligibility for DBS checks, as well as an organisations duties and responsibilities in regard to making barring referrals. The session will last around 45 minutes with time for questions.
This session is aimed at those who are involved in the recruitment and management of staff or volunteers, including those on work experience, and those who have safeguardingresponsibilities.
The session aims to raise awareness of DBS and increase confidence in accessing and using DBS checks as part of your safer recruitment and on-going employment decisions.
