Cyber Security is a growing concern for many small and medium sized businesses across the country and here in Cornwall and Devon.
Do you know that:
- 98% of tested web apps are vulnerable to attack
- 75% of directors of businesses are not involved in the review of cyber security risks
- Online banking fraud increases 48% year on year
- In 2015 there was a 144% increase in successful cyber-attacks on businesses.
So whether you are already thinking about it or haven’t had chance to consider how you protect yourself, this focus group meeting could be just what you’re looking for.
We’re looking for members of the business community to join us to help put Cornwall and Devon at the cutting edge of cyber fraud (theft) prevention. To do this, we need to share our thinking and to ask you to share your experiences.
The session will be highly interactive as we aim to answer a few key questions which in our experience results in useful learning and a positive action plan. The purpose of the discussions is to allow us to understand more about the issues that businesses are aware of and indeed actively facing up to, which will enable us to develop the right support in partnership with Devon and Cornwall police which in turn will aid you and your business to be better protected in this increasingly sophisticated world of cybercrime.
Please book now to secure your place for an informative morning on how to make sure your business is resilient to cyber-attacks.
Places are strictly limited to the first 12 who book, so if this is a topic that you’d like more information on, please book now.
