Cyber Security is a growing concern for many small and medium sized businesses across the country and here in Cornwall and Devon.
Do you know that:
- 98% of tested web apps are vulnerable to attack
- 75% of directors of businesses are not involved in the review of cyber security risks
- Online banking fraud increases 48% year on year
- In 2015 there was a 144% increase in successful cyber-attacks on businesses.
So whether you are already thinking about it or haven’t yet begun to consider how to protect yourself and your business, this focus group meeting which we're running in collaboration with Stephens Scown LLP could be just what you’re looking for.
We’re looking for members of the business community to share their experiences of cyber security, specifically to understand what you know and what you would like to know about staying safe online.
The session will be highly interactive. The purpose of the focus group meeting is to allow us to understand more about the issues that businesses are aware of and indeed actively facing up to, which will enable us to develop the right support in partnership with Devon and Cornwall Police which in turn will aid you and your business to be better protected in this increasingly sophisticated world of cybercrime.
Please book now to secure your place to be part of this discussion how businesses can be resilient to cyber-attacks.
Places are strictly limited to the first 12 who book, so if this is a discussion you'd like to be part of, please book now. We will also share our top ten tips for staying safe online.
