Deaf Equality for Domestic Abuse frontline staff

This training course is designed for professionals working in domestic abuse organisations who want to better support Deaf survivors. Deaf individuals often face additional barriers when seeking help, including a lack of access to BSL interpreters, limited understanding from staff, and services that are not fully accessible.

The session will raise awareness of Deaf culture and communication needs, highlight the importance of equality and inclusion, and offer practical guidance to improve support for Deaf survivors. By the end of the course, participants will feel more confident in making their services accessible and inclusive for all.
