A day course with teachings, guided meditations, and a vegi/vegan lunch.

About this Event

It is very common to experience anxiety and worry in the midst of our busy, modern lives.

Meditation is an effective way to deal with anxiety.

We can learn how to control our own mind, instead of allowing our mind to control us.

This day course will explain how, through meditation, we can create inner calm and mental freedom.

Our special guest Teacher Gen Kelsang Jigme is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Liverpool.

Ordained as a monk in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen Jigme has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance in major Kadampa Centres throughout the UK for many years.

He shows a humble, kind example as a practitioner and his clear explanations of Buddha’s teachings give us the confidence to practise them in our daily life.

Chairs and cushions are provided in the meditation room.

Everyone welcome, no experience needed.
