The Imperial College Club of Germany e.V. is pleased to announce its next alumni conference in Frankfurt am Main, Germany over the weekend of 14 - 16 October 2016.
We are excited to announce the presence of the President of Imperial College, Professor Alice P. Gast, on Friday evening 14th October for the first time in Germany, followed by our annual event “Sustainability in the 21st Century, Dealing with Climate Change”.
Friday 14 October, 18:30: Meet and greet Professor Alice P. Gast [Venue in Frankfurt to be announced]
Saturday 15 October:
- Alumni conference starting at 08:45 including champagne cocktail and a buffet lunch with guest speakers:
Professor Tom Welton, Imperial College’s Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences with the topic of “Chemistry for a cleaner future"
Professor Dr Michael Schulz, MARUM - Centre for Marine Environmental Sciences University of Bremen on "Our changing climate - history, human influence and future development"
Trends in climate finance and outlook for the post Paris environment"
Professor Guy Woodward, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Life Sciences on "Networking our way towards healthier ecosystems".

- Dinner at19:30 in the delightful Druckwasserwerk
Sunday 16 October: After the ICCG e.V. Annual Meeting in Leonardo Royal Hotel Frankfurt, we will depart for an English Tour at 10:30 of the Deutsches Filmmuseum with a Special Exhibition on Aardmann, the creators of Wallace & Grommit as well as Shaun the Sheep. And to round it off, we will have Lunch at “zur Buchscheer” Apfelweinwirtschaft before saying Farewell!

The conference fee is €25 for members of ICCG and €50 for non-members (membership costs €25) and covers the costs of the Saturday conference including a light buffet lunch.
You can also reserve your place for the group dinner on Saturday and the tour on Sunday morning (to be paid separately).
We have pre-reserved a number of rooms at a Leonardo Royal Hotel in Frankfurt. Please indicate your hotel reservation request and we will be inform you how to proceed.
