Description

This course is designed for individuals who require to resolve differences at work whether with colleagues, clients or suppliers. The aim is to enable delegates to deal confidently and influentially with disagreement, aggression and other strong emotions, which could otherwise damage the reputation of their business.  By the end of this course each delegate will be able to:

  • Accept why conflict is inevitable and can be positive

  • Describe the difference between attitude and behaviour – and how to use that knowledge to build rapport

  • Identify different types of behaviour and decide how to respond

  • Recognise and react to the different stages of conflict

  • Avoid the barriers to conflict resolution

  • Demonstrate how to stay in control of their emotions

  • Use influential behaviours to handle disagreements effectively
