Event description

Description

Learning to manage stress and remain calm and positive in all the challenging situations we face in life is both a life-saving and a life-changing skill.

Stress drains our energy, damages our health, spoils our relationships, reduces our productivity and can leave us feeling overwhelmed, not knowing where to turn, or what to do.

In this seminar we will explore the deeper spiritual aspects of stress and discover ways to go beyond fear, embrace change, protect ourselves from negative and stressful influences and create harmony in our relationships.

John McConnel is a stress management trainer and former prison governor and social worker. He has been studying and teaching raja yoga meditation with the Brahma Kumaris for over 25 years. He has a strong interest in the practical application of spiritual principles and insights in daily life and conducts workshops in this country and abroad on a variety of personal development topics.

He will share from his own journey how actively dealing with stress helped him deal with tricky situations within the workplace and his own personal life.
