Description

WHAT?

Dear Diary, is a spoken word event that celebrates true personal stories of identity and mental wellbeing.

This event is organised and hosted by Another Helping and Marbles Magazine and will feature a creative programme of poetry and spoken word by Poetry Circus.

100% of the event’s proceeds will be donated to Saheliya, an organisation which supports and promotes the positive mental health and well-being of black, minority ethnic, asylum seeker, refugee and migrant women and girls (12+) in the Edinburgh and Glasgow area.

19.00 - 22.00, 19 October 2017 as part of the programme for the Scottish Mental Health Art and Film Festival 2017

Another Helping is an independent fundraising initiative that encourages engagement between communities in Edinburgh and the charities in their own backyard through creative events

Marbles Magazine is new indie print magazine exploring, dissecting and exploding the stigma of mental health. Dear Diary, will serve as the launch of Marbles highly anticipated 2nd issue!

Poetry Circus is a project by poet Max Scratchmann that explores the strangest sides of humanity with tales of horror, happiness, truth, and lies.
