Death and Commemoration in the 17th & 18th Centuries: Material Culture Histories. A roundtable discussion

About this event

Join our conversation on the material culture of death and commemoration during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. We’ve brought together a panel of researchers from Edinburgh and Glasgow to explore subjects from Mary Queen of Scots to Robert Adam, and mediums including sculpture, relics, and portrait miniatures. Together the panel will cover a range of themes on how deceased people were rememebred in the past. Hosted on Zoom, 4.00-5:30pm (Edinburgh).
