Event description

Description

Many of us don't have the opportunity to talk openly about death and dying yet there may be many things we would like to think about and discuss.

Hear from Professor Bridget Johnston, RCN Fellow and Florence Nightingale Foundation Clinical Professor of Nursing at the University of Glasgow School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing/NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Following by a facilitated discussion with Bridget Johnson and Theresa Fyffe, RCN Scotland Director – in the format of a Death Café with discussion and refreshments – creating a safe atmosphere to talk about death and dying.

With the aim of helping us all to be more open about death and dying – a Death Café is an opportunity for interesting, thought-provoking and life-affirming conversations.

Refreshments provided.

This event is part of our current RCN exhibition series Aspects of Age which explores older people’s nursing.
