Event description

Description

This is the 12th North London Forensic Service International Conference, a 2 day residential conference exploring a range of topics relating to forensic mental health. This year the conference focuses on deaths in custodial settings, not only suicide, but also the “social death” of whole life sentences, the use of bureaucracy as a means of killing thought, as well as a number of medico-legal topics, and serial homicide.

This conference will be of interest to mental health professionals – psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and managers – and also to other forensic practitioners, criminologists, lawyers, police officers and prison staff.
