About this event

Ready to learn to speak your mind with confidence?

We run two classes every Tuesday - one in the morning and another one in the evening. Please note that the classes are at different studios:

  • Morning class is held at 90 Hanbury Street, London, between 7am-8.30am
  • Evening class is held at 259 Goswell Road, London, between 6pm-8pm

No matter where you are currently at with your debating and public speaking skills - this will be your safe place to practise these valuable life skills. Our classes are limited to a maximum of 20 attendees which guarantees that everyone will get plenty of opportunities to speak.

We don't focus on the technical side of debating. We are here to provide a 'public square' where members of our communities are encouraged to say what they think on a given topic. Whatever your background, ethnicity, belief system, political alignment, sexual orientation or any other thing that society wants to divide us by, you are warmly welcomed to our respectful and supportive club.

Come join us to feel the empowering and liberating freedom to speak your mind!

Free first session for new members! Just email us at info@debait.co.uk in advance of the class you would like to attend.

Normal cost is £14 per session.

All bookings must be made and paid for in advance.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to attend class?

£14 per class. Seats must be booked and paid for via our website (www.debait.co.uk) before the class.

Is there a limit to attendee numbers with the class?

Yes. We limit our class size to 20 as we want to ensure that everyone attending is given plenty of opportunities to speak.

I feel a bit nervous - can I attend without needing to stand up and speak?

Yes that is perfectly fine. Whilst we of course want to encourage everyone to practise these debating and public speaking skills, there is much learning to be gained by just observing others.
