Debate with CIBSE ASHRAE Group - Is air conditioning for comfort cooling necessary in the UK?

This panel debate will have representatives from the IOR, CIBSE/ASHRAE, BESA and FETA exploring the topic “Is air conditioning for comfort cooling necessary in the UK?”

Richard Rooley form ASHRAE/CIBSE will look at how passive cooling can impact the need for air conditioning, Graham Wright of FETA will discuss the environmental aspect of air conditioning while Graeme Fox of BESA will concentrate on building standards and regulations and how they create the requirement for comfort cooling.
