Debunking the Myths of Healthy Eating
Tue 25 April 2017, 19:00 – 21:00 BST
During the session Hailey will:
- Debunk the 'healthy eating' myths so that you know exactly what the facts are to help you make informed healthy choices
- Give you the facts about sugar (the biggest health problem), what it does to our body, and what to look out for when shopping that will help to avoid those hidden sugars
- Provide you with nutritional information on products that are actually healthy and highlight the ones that aren't quite so healthy for us
- Share with you a simple way of what to include in your meals to ensure it is nutritionally balanced and healthy.
Hailey, who will be leading the information session, is a certified Nutritional Therapist and a Healthy Home Chef and she set up Your Health Angel to make healthy eating simple.
'I used to be obsessed with calorie counting everything I ate, tracking every bit of fat content, and being sold by the 'healthy' slogans on the front of the packaging so I understand how difficult it can be to make healthy choices for you and your family. There is so much conflicting advice on what is healthy and what is not. The big manufacturing companies take full advantage of that and cleverly market their products to us and we buy those products fully trusting that we are making healthy choices'.
Tinies Glasgow, who will be cohosting the information session, is run by Martine and Jacques Nadler who are parents themselves. 'We want to provide a professional childcare service to meet the diverse needs of families today and we know from feedback that healthy eating for the family is a hot topic so we want to address those needs'.
That is why Tinies Glasgow and Your Health Angel are excited to be working together to bring you this Healthy Eating Information Session to help you better separate the fact from the fiction to make healthy eating easier for you and your family.
There will also be plenty of time for discussion so please BOOK YOUR SPACE NOW and come along on Tuesday 25th April at 7.00pm to have a chat with us about your struggles in providing healthy choices for your families. We can assure you that you are not alone.
