Event Information
About this event
The Mayor of London's Local Energy Accelerator (LEA) supports the development of clean and flexible energy in London, providing funded expertise and support to organisations to develop and deliver low carbon, decentralised energy projects.
These projects will transform the way London generates, supplies and uses energy in buildings and transport.
From mid-February 2022, NHS Trusts will be eligible for funding from LEA once a new Local Energy Framework of consultants has been launched. The programme represents an opportunity for trusts to work towards recently introduced targets for net zero carbon across the NHS.
We can help organisations prepare their applications for LEA funding now in preparation for when the new Local Energy Framework launches.
This webinar will provide you with information on the support available and guidance on how to apply.
In it, we will:
• Explain how LEA can support NHS Trusts in delivering low carbon, decentralised energy projects
• Tell you about the free support and expertise available
• Help you understand how your organisation could benefit from the programme
About LEA
LEA is a £6m programme co-funded by the Mayor of London and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to cut London’s carbon emissions.
LEA is the successor to the Decentralised Energy Enabling Project (DEEP), which supported 44 decentralised energy projects. LEA goes further with greater funding and a dedicated Programme Delivery Unit (PDU), as well as supporting energy flexibility (e.g. energy storage and integrated smart charging for electric vehicles).
