Our December guest speaker Edwina Silver will deliver a master class entitled ‘How to unlock the potential in LinkedIn’. Edwina is going to give us a mini masterclass on LinkedIn, so that everyone who attends will be able to understand how it works and start getting the very best from LinkedIn.
After 22 successful years in recruitment Edwina Silver decided that less travelling was in order and created an opportunity to return to her first love of training. She set up her marketing consultancy Let’s get Social back in 2010 and has never regretted leaving her corporate career behind her. She trains clients across the UK (and internationally) on how to unlock the potential of LinkedIn to help them to increase lead generation and boost their sales, promote their services and improve brand awareness. As well as training, she also runs campaigns for her clients using her LinkedIn skills and expertise. A keen advocate for women who want to start their own business, she has mentored many starts ups along the way, and 2 ½ years ago started The Connexion - a network just for women in business. It gives them the opportunity to meet other likeminded professional women, to network, share and support each other. There are now 5 clubs, meeting monthly with more in the pipeline for 2017. Edwina believes it is never too late to make changes and follow your dreams. “I have seen many women surprise themselves in the last few years with what they have been able to achieve. Discovering that the only thing holding them back - was themselves”.
Attendees are given the opportunity of introducing themselves with a one-minute introduction to the rest of the floor, however there is absolutely no pressure to do so. Our environment is of no pressure, if you wish to network then fine, if not then come along enjoy some Samosa’s and listen to our guest speaker. We believe we are an event for non-traditional networkers as well as experienced networkers. We have built an online and offline community and there are plenty of opportunities to converse and share with a Whatsapp Group (send a message to (07739471133), Facebook Group and also on LinkedIn, as well as our monthly meet. So come and join us to Network-Learn and Grow together!
