December North East XR Meet-up

Come along to our Christmas-themed meet-up for XR specialists and immersive enthusiasts in the North East!

This festive event will celebrate the end of the year by exploring global XR insights and how they connect to our local scene. We’ll share key takeaways from the UnitedXR Conference in Brussels, and then open the floor for everyone to introduce themselves, their interests within XR, and what they’re currently working on. Alongside the discussion, we’ll keep things relaxed and social with Christmas-themed VR games and an immersive quiz.

This will be the first meet-up in a growing series of XR community activities: from casual gatherings and newsletters to demo showcases and collaboration opportunities in 2026.

This event will be seasonally festive, so expect decorations and holiday jumpers.

Our aim is to build an open, inclusive community that balances the technical with the inspirational. These events are co-created with you, so bring your ideas, share your interests, and help us shape the future of XR in the region.
