Join Brian Rankin as he talks about the life, work and legacy of Charlie Rodgers, the Gateshead born, self-taught artist (1930-2020). Charlie often observed that “ I feel I have spent much of my career being pursued by bulldozers.” He dedicated more than fifty years of his life immortalising buildings and people on canvas and paper using a variety of mediums including watercolour and oils.

This talk will be illustrated by original artwork.
