Do you find it difficult to squeeze writing time into your busy schedule? This retreat is a great time to catch up on your writing before the winter break.

- 9.30-11.00: Writing
- 11.00-11.30: Morning Break
- 11.30-12.30: Writing
- 12.30-14.00: Lunch break
- 14.00-15.30: Writing
- 15.30-16:00: Afternoon break
- 16.00-17:00: Writing
- 17:00-17:30 Taking stock & next steps
You can come both days or just one; and we appreciate that you have a life, so you can drop into the sessions whenever you can.
This structure follows the writing retreat model developed by Rowena Murray. The retreat facilitators have joined many workshops with Rowena and attended her facilitator training workshop.
Price
£50 to join the full retreat, 30£ if you join only one day (pick which date suits).
Do you have a student discount?

The Facilitators
Joana Zozimo is a Senior Research Associate at Lancaster University Management School. She trained as a writing retreat facilitator with Rowena Murray and delivers regular healthy writing retreats in the UK, Portugal (her base) and across West Africa.
Rosalind Rice is an Educational Professional with broad international experience as a senior lecturer, teacher trainer, curriculum designer and online learning facilitator. She has a Doctorate in Education and a Masters in Online Education. She is specialised in online education and has run numerous virtual writing retreats. She is based in Scotland.
Wendy Baldwin is an authors' editor and academic translator who specializes in helping English as an Additional Language scholars get their work published. Wendy has taught academic writing since 1992, and she trained as a writing retreat facilitator with Rowena Murray in 2018. Based in Spain, she runs virtual writing micro-groups for scholars and language professionals.
