Dydd Iau 25ain Mawrth & Dydd Gwener 26ain Mawrth @ 10 - 12:30- Rhaid bod ar gael ar gyfer y ddwy sesiwn.

Ar Gyfer Pwy?

Pobl greadigol sy'n wynebu neu'n mynd drwy broses ddiswyddo ac sy'n bwriadu gweithio'n llawrydd am y tro cyntaf. Mae wedi'i anelu'n arbennig at bobl greadigol. Nid oes angen unrhyw wybodaeth flaenorol am hunangyflogaeth. Ac nid oes ots pa fath o fusnes rydych chi'n ei sefydlu.

Beth yw'r ffocws?

Mae sefydlu ar eich pen eich hun yn frawychus pan nad ydych wedi gwneud hynny o'r blaen. Felly, rydym yn mynd drwy ffyrdd o drefnu eich hun, sut i fynd i'r afael â'r newidiadau mawr sy'n codi mewn trethiant, a digon o doriadau byr fel y gallwch daro'r tir yn rhedeg.

Erbyn diwedd y sesiwn dylech allu:

  • cydnabod pam mae hunangyflogaeth yn wahanol i gyflogaeth
  • disgrifio pwy a beth ydych chi'n ei gynnig yn hyderus
  • adnabod y gwahaniaethau rhwng unig fasnachwr a chwmni cyfyngedig
  • cydymffurfio â gofynion cyfreithiol ar gyfer treth ac yswiriant gwladol
  • cadw cofnodion yn effeithlon a pharatoi ar gyfer Rhaglen Troi Treth yn Ddigidol CThEM
  • cael eich talu'n brydlon a chynllunio sut i beidio â gorwario
  • llunio cynllun busnes a marchnata
  • rheoli eu hamser i sicrhau lles meddyliol a chorfforol da

Beyond Redundancy: Setting up as a Sole Trader

Thursday 25th March & Friday 26th March @ 10:00 - 12:30. You must be available for both sessions.

For Who?

Creative people facing or going through a redundancy process and intending to set up on their own for the first time. It’s particularly aimed at creative people. No previous knowledge of self-employment is necessary. And it doesn’t matter what kind of business you’re setting up.

What’s the focus?

Setting up on your own is daunting when you’ve not done it before. So we go through ways to organise yourself, how to get to grips with the big changes coming up in taxation, and plenty of short cuts so that you can hit the ground running.

By the end of the workshop trainees should be able to:

  • Recognise why self-employment is different from employment
  • describe with confidence what they do and who they are
  • Identify the differences between sole trader and limited company
  • comply with legal requirements for tax and national insurance
  • keep records efficiently and get ready for HMRC’s Making Tax Digital programme
  • get paid on time and plan how not to run out of cash
  • draw up a business and marketing plan for their sole trader business
  • manage their time to ensure good mental and physical well-being
