Decoding Digital Leadership for Charities
Tue 11 April 2017, 18:00 – 21:00 BST
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT
Ever wished you had a better grasp of the latest trends in digital technology, and the history behind them? Are you keen to understand the languages underpinning tech, improve communication with developers, edit your own website or bring digital into your service delivery?
Together, code, data and technology are powering the next wave of innovation. Within just three hours, you will be equipped with the knowledge of how these fit together, and inspired to drive new changes within your organisation.
Combining interactive workshops and group exercises, you will get hands on with web coding languages, live data sources and emerging technologies that are changing the way we find and consume information and services. Each attendee will leave the session having created their own new digital prototypes to put the theory into practise.
Who is it for?
This session is aimed at anyone who is part of the senior leadership team at a UK registered charity. You do not need to have any prior knowledge on the subjects that will be covered. We will demystify digital technologies, helping you to understand what is possible.
We are charging £10 to attend this event in order to cover food costs. If you have any dietry requirements please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
