Decoding Parenting: Seven Weeks of the Family as a School of Love From 14:00 May 30, 2020
You are welcome to join a parenting course starting with an introduction on May 30th
Parenting - It's the job we all want to be great at because we know it's such a big deal, yet in our modern, busy world it can sometimes be so challenging.
Nicola Bailey and Teuta Avdyli are the experienced coordinators of the course that will be hosted by Universal Peace Federation UK. It will feature an Introduction on May 30th and subsequently a set of six parenting workshops. Its aim is to help understand behaviours, defuse situations and to make space for family fun. The workshops are set to run every Saturday from June 6th for six weeks from 2 pm to 3.30 pm.
Nicola has worked with her surrounding communities for over 30 years, as a nurse and teacher. Her area of specialism is working with parents and families, engaging them and offering parent / family support which also included founding a charity which she ran for 8 years. She has recently completed a PhD focused on parental engagement and support and she currently runs parent / family support workshops.
Teuta Avdyli is a mother of two beautiful children, an 11 years old daughter and an 8 years old boy and has been married for 24 years. She is the author of two books: the international bestseller book "Born to Stand Out" and the soon to be released book, "Family Legacy of Love".
