Event description
Decolonising Identity: Preventing Exploitation and Realising Civilisational Potential

About this Event

Through his seminal essay entitled "Decolonising Identity", and as contributing author in Tipping Points, Vivek explores whether a civilisation can truly unshackle the chains of colonial dominance without shaking off the colonial instinct at an identity-level.

Hosted at the Royal Society of Arts, this event promises to be an engaging evening of discussion and networking.

Vivek Sharma, Oxford graduate and strategist, recently completed the Tattva Authorship Programme, a scholarship based series of workshops and mentoring, to publish his piece on decolonising identity.

Shivani Pala has a BSc in biochemistry and Mres in biochemical research from Imperial College London. Currently she heads research for EI Advisory and manages a team of analysts, writing intelligence reports for B2B corporates.

Tattva is a non-profit organisation that springboards writers who are keen to explore topics at the intersection of Indic Culture and Modern Society through Literature.
