Interpreters of atrocity crimes: approaches to consider
The mental health of interpreters assigned to atrocity crimes is their responsibility, as legal clients expect them to come prepared both on the subject-matter and mentally. After the screening of the "In flow of words" by Eliane Esther Bots giving you a glimpse into the professional and emotional world of a war crimes tribunal interpreter, our speaker will be discussing some approaches that may be taken to protect oneself mentaly from secondary trauma.
