Paint a piece of furniture workshop.

Do you have an old piece of furniture that needs a new lease of life? Join our furniture upcycling workshop and discover the art of transformation.

You will be guided through the process, from prep to finish, learning and using different techniques to make your furniture unique and beautiful. Painting, distressing, stencilling, waxing and more.

All resources and materials are provided; all you need to bring is an apron and a piece of furniture which you can carry!

Refreshments can be purchased at Woodland and enjoyed in the lovely Garden Room during and after your class.

Frequently asked questions

I have never been to a class like this before and feel a bit nervous. Will it be intimidating?

Completely not! The classes are very relaxed and there is absolutely no pressure at all. They are a lovely chance to relax and create, also to meet new people along the way.

I don't have any artistic experience, does this matter?

These classes are perfect for you! There is a lot of help and guidance, with tips and techniques to make artists out of everyone!

I'm a bit worried about showing my painting to anyone else in the class.

The classes are set up to create a relaxed atmosphere; everyone has their own space and the class is structured to help and support everyone at every stage. You will be wanting to hang your painting on the wall by the end of this class!
