This month we're doing things a little differently...
A new venue, with the same magical vibe!
The weather has been wonderful over the last two months, and we've chosen a space to honour that this month! We welcome you to the Summer Special of Deep Chats Open Mic Night.
We encourage anyone who would like to: Recite a poem, share a verse, tell a story, sing or perform a song, spit some bars, share some love...This is a safe place to do so! My name is Deip, I'll be your host for this event.
This will be our sixth adventure!
The idea was born from my love of spoken word and my desire to share my experiences as a single father, including the trials and tribulations of separation. The idea is to create a space to be able to help/guide/support anyone else going through a tough time. I wish it to be a place for us to share the happy times and the sad times.

Time: Arrive from 7pm to grab yourself a drink, order some food, find yourself a place to sit and let's speak! We will start performances at 7.30pm.

Limited parking on site but there is plenty of free parking on the surrounding side roads.
While this is predominantly a Spoken Word night, themed around family matters, you are more than welcome to share about other topics. Rough around the edges? A work in progress?
We welcome it ALL!!!
We also welcome mothers, daughters, sons, your aunts, uncles, cousins half removed... all members of the family, including FRIENDS that are family too! Spread the word with me, let's enjoy an evening together in the Kinks Room this Summer!
NB. Poetry and cocktails are for grown-ups, please leave the little ones at home.
