About this event
When upgrading homes for energy efficiency, it's easy to focus on insulation, but without the right ventilation, the work can lead to condensation, mould growth, and damage to the building fabric.
In this session, we’ll explore the relationship between insulation and ventilation, helping you understand how they work together to improve indoor air quality and maintain the long-term health of the building.
We’ll carry out an in-depth review of :
- External Wall Insulation (EWI)
- Internal Wall Insulation (IWI)
- Cavity Wall Insulation
- Roof and Underfloor Insulation
- Effective ventilation strategies that complement these measures
This session is a perfect follow-up to the the 'Introduction to insulation and ventilation', and will build the knowledge for those who are specifying, or overseeing these improvements in a retrofit programme.
This event will be hosted online on Microsoft Teams and a link to join the event is included on Eventbrite.
