About this Event
Yoga Nidra (also known as yogic sleep) is an immensely powerful meditation technique which allows you to delve into a deep state of relaxation, where the body can rejuvenate and release tensions and experience a real sense of wholeness.
Yoga Nidra works directly with the nervous system, enabling us to flip the switch from being stuck in the sympathetic nervous system responses of “fight or flight”, and shift into a more restful and peaceful place of awareness, where deep healing can occur. Regular practice leads to a reduction in stress and improves sleep.
Yoga Nidra is usually done laying down but also sitting. Allow yourself to experience a sense of calm. There is nothing for you to do; no yoga poses required, simply listen to the voice and let yourself be guided into a calming and soothing state.
