A Soundbath is a meditative experience where you are literally bathed in sound waves. It is a space inviting you to let go of the brain and balance your energy. In general my intention is to create a sense of harmony and for the body to relax thus promoting health and wellbeing.
Comfort is key! Most people like to bring a yoga mat to lie on, a blanket, and some cushions for the head and legs. An eye mask can also help to deepen your experience. In winter my preference is a sleeping bag!
Group soundbaths are a recommended £20pp. In order to be able to offer this to all it is just a recommended fee and anyone is free to just pay an amount they can afford.
Sound baths are unsuitable for those who suffer from sound induced epilepsy, if you have a pacemaker or if you suffer from a serious heart condition. It is not recommended for pregnant women in their first trimester. If you suffer from a serious mental health condition please consult with your doctor prior to attending.
